There are four Urban Outfitters in Greater Boston, plus two in the 'burbs and a third opening soon. That's a lot more overstock than a few random clearance racks could ever contain. The solution: Designate the massive Harvard Square space's lowest level as the brand's Bargain Basement. Menswear, womenswear, accessories, gifts and housewares—clothing starts at a mere $9.99. We've spotted the shops workhorse private labels down there, along with many of their collaborations (including Steven Alan, J.Press, Corpus, Geren Ford, Peter Jensen). In addition, you might luck into pieces by Pendleton, Original Penguin, Dickies, Vans, Converse, Ben Sherman, Levi's, Fred Perry, Keds, Spiewak—the stock is constantly shifting and the prices are always coming down. It's a must stop.
