In what's turning out to be an international fashion palaver of epic proportions—yes, we're talking about Milan moving their September 2012 show dates to overlap New York and London fashion weeks—and a back-and-forth argument of passive-aggressive you-back-down-no-you-back-down, the latest in the whole Milan versus the world schedule disaster is that nothing has changed. In fact, Milan's Camera Nazionale della Moda has issued another statement re-stating that nothing, in fact, has changed.
"They said they were disappointed we were not honoring the September 2008 agreement," said [Mario] Boselli [Head of the Camera Moda]. "I replied that we regret things went this way, but I stated that it is not our fault and that we are not responsible for this turn of events. We will meet to discuss dates for 2013."
So there you go. Milan says a big f-you to the international fashion calendar and does whatever it wants. Ta-da.
