Style.com Launches Video Fashion Week, Spring 2012 Edition

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today, Style.com launches its first-ever Video Fashion Week—an online extravaganza of 12 original spring 2012 collection content from designers who don't traditionally show on the catwalks at The Big Four (New York, London, Milan, Paris). Each label—Surface to Air, Joseph, Jasmin Shokrian Draft No. 17, Markus Lupfer, Wendy Nichol, Sophomore, Rogan, MM6 Maison Martin Margiela, Tse Goh, Calla, Camilla and Marc, and Opening Ceremony—created a three-minute-ish short film. The films will premiere on Style.com—kicking off today with Surface to Air, posting one or two each weekday through October 21st. Check it out!
