Prison is better than having a job. Or at least that's what Patrizia Reggiani, convicted of murdering her ex-husband, Gucci heir Maurizio Gucci, says. Reggiani, currently serving time in a Milan prison, was offered a day release program but declined, saying she'd never worked a day in her life and didn't intend to start now. Anybody who has read Jeanette Winterson's The Passion knows that Italian jails can be pretty posh. Reggiani reportedly spends her days gardening and caring for a pet ferret. [Vogue UK]
