Last week's release of Israeli POW Gilad Shalit made headlines around the world. While most of the stories focused on Shalit's return to Israel and his statements to the press after being released, there was an accidental celebrity who came out of the whole thing - Shalit's shirt. The long sleeved blue checked shirt with a navy collar has been selling like crazy in stores in the Gaza Strip. "The Gilad Shirt" sells for fifty shekels and has already inspired Facebook fan pages in multiple langages, including this one.
