On Thursday, Urban Outfitters will officially kick off its Store on Tour in Columbia, South Carolina. What is that, exactly? Basically, Urban Outfitters got its hands on two refurbished shipping trucks, and will be selling UO gear on the road, along with some friends. Dockers Alph(a) Khaki helped curate a gallery of artwork made out of Dockers' khakis, Tortoise & Blonde will be hawking indie eyewear, and Dry Soda Co. will be handling the refreshments (some of which will be free).
The trucks will stay in South Carolina through the 9th; will arrive in Athens, Georgia on the 11th and stay through the 14th; will hit up Tallahassee, Florida from the 17th through the 20th; and finally, will end the tour in Knoxville, Tennessee from the 22nd through the 25th. It doesn't sound like too much of a vacation, what with all that running around, but we're sure our neighbors below the Mason Dixon are looking forward to it.
