Acne and Artist Daniel Silver Teamed Up for a Capsule Collection

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Acne has gotten together with London-based artist Daniel Silver for a capsule collection, and will launch it alongside an exhibition on October 11 at Acne Studios at 13 Dover Street in London. Here's one thing that Acne's Jonny Johansson had to say about the collab: "[The] fabrics are slightly raw and tribal in style, Daniel has a strong relationship with Africa and so we embraced this in the collection, there is painted leather, a lot of print and a lot of naive texture." See an exclusive video of the collection on Acne's website.
