Dita Von Teese Launches Dresses

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Retro-inspired beauty Dita Von Teese has launched her first-ever dress collection. Called Dita Von Teese Muse, the five-piece capsule collection—four vintage-inspired dresses and one trench coat—will launch exclusively at Australian department store David Jones. Dita-ish features incorporated into the dress design include corsetry, Crepe de Chine lining, and body-skimming silhouettes. "Muse is designed to complement a multitude of body shapes, so every woman can celebrate her natural beauty and feel sexy in a gorgeous dress," Von Teese said in a statement. [Racked Inbox]
