Today's story is brought to you by the letter M: a woman named Molly Martin of Middletown, Ohio, was busted shoplifting $384.73 worth of kids' clothes, accessories, and toys from a Meijer store. Since Molly didn't want to go to jail, she thought she could get out of the charge by distracting everyone with a bomb threat. She texted her friend, who agreed to call a threat into the store.
The threat was quickly determined to be false, but Molly got an additional Misdemeanor charge of Making a false alarm. She faces a preliminary hearing in Middletown Municipal Court.
