There's nothing unusual about the fact that nail polish doyenne Deborah Lippmann is releasing a special collection of lacquers for the holidays. But the polishes aren't all--Lippmann is also putting out a special three song CD of Christmas music. That she sings.
"I actually moved to New York City with hopes of making it as a singer," Lippmann told Allure. "I joined every choral group there was to join growing up, and I have a college degree in music. But when I moved to New York, I needed to pay the bills so I went to cosmetology school to become a manicurist part time."
Lippmann's holiday nail trio comes with three colors: O Holy Night (bright red), Angels (opalescent white), and Deck the Halls (red glitter). The CD is included as well. If you aren't able to snag a copy, though, Lippmann will be performing her version of "Deck the Halls" on the Home Shopping Network on Christmas Day.
