Carven's Spring 2012 Shoe Collection Has Us Wishing We Didn't Just Switch Over to Boots

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The excitement of trading in open toes for chunky boots tends to fade once things get real cold, but this year that warm weather nostalgia came a little bit early, as in, once we saw the Carven spring 2012 shoe collection. The strappy sandals, moccasins, and flats have us wishing that it could just be spring, right now. In addition to making their own adorable shoes (which are all in the slideshow above), they also teamed up with Robert Clergerie for a handful of straw wedges. Check out that gallery after the jump.
