A forum poster on The Fashion Spot has translated a Dutch-language newspaper article that claims Dutch Vogue will launch next year. Here's the translation:
It's not offcially confirmed yet, as the contracts are not set up yet and negotiations are still taking place, but: there will a Dutch Vogue. A trial version has already gone to print.Editor-in-chief for Dutch Glamour (a Condé Nast publication) Karin Swerink is rumored to head the new Vogue edition. She says: "Who wouldn't want that? But it's not official yet so I can't confirm anything." Per November 1st she will leave her Glamour reign to Sabine Geurts. Swerink says she will help adjust Geurts to her new position for three more months.
Though it's pure speculation at this point, we'd love to see a Dutch model like Lara Stone or Doutzen Kroes (pictured) land the first cover, perhaps wearing something by countrymen Viktor & Rolf.
