American Apparel, who first entered the beauty world with a line of nail polishes last year, is adding lip glosses to their collection. The nine glosses, which cost $12 each, will arrive in 50 of the company's stores this week and will also be available online. American Apparel CEO Dov Charney said that the glosses are "a modern, sexy, high-quality cosmetic line with the same manufacturing principles we use for our made in USA cotton basics," but did not comment on whether those principles applied to the lips of the employees who tested out the gloss. After all, one of the colors is called "Pantytime."
