What is excellent news for designers Carly Cushnie and Michelle Ochs is not-so-excellent news for anyone who still wants to get her hands on one of their sought-after party frocks this holiday season.
First Lady and style maven Michelle Obama wore an elegant, pine green Cushnie et Ochs number for the taping of Christmas in Washington on Sunday. Which means if you had your eye on your own C&O gown this season, we recommend getting it before the episode airs on TNT this Friday and the inevitable buying frenzy ensues.
Here's what's left (for the time being):
Rent the Runway
Three cocktail-appropriate, above-the-knee styles are currently available on the site, including this cheerful halter.
BergdorfGoodman.com
Bergdorf's website has six C&O styes total, including four cocktail dresses and two super-cute (and perfectly holiday party-appropriate) trouser-blouse combos.
ShopBob
ShopBob has the biggest collection and the most variety, including 10 cocktail dresses at last count, plus a handful of blouses, skirts, and trousers, to boot. We especially love this strapless violet option.
