Last night, Christie's auction house began the epic sale of jewels, gowns, and other pieces that belonged to the late Hollywood icon Elizabeth Taylor. The sale is already smashing previous auction records, with a diamond ring she got from former husband Richard Burton going for $8.8 million and a ruby, diamond, and pearl necklace known as "La Peregrina" going for $11.8 million. For those of us who can't afford the real bling, Overstock.com has knocked off a couple of the most iconic pieces just in time to capitalize on the mania. Is it too late to ask Santa for that bow brooch?
