THE INTERNET—Our sister site Eater National directs us to the most bizarre-o jewelery launch yet: The Food Network's Guy Fieri is now selling a line of jewelry on OpenSky. His description: "This stuff is off-da-hook. It's some killer bling. There's a dog tag, cufflinks, a bracelet—the works. It'll make for a kewl gift for the holidays." [Los Angeles Times via Eater National]

SAN FRANCISCO—Lucky passengers that flew on Virgin America's flight 837 from Chicago to San Francisco on December 16th received presents from Banana Republic at the baggage claim, where neatly wrapped packages slid down the carousel instead of suitcases. We imagine New Yorkers would have been angry, but all the San Fran travelers looks pretty pleased. The video ends with: "Holiday travel comes with baggage. Flight 837 claimed a little joy." You can watch the video here. [Banana Republic/YouTube]
