Iconic discount department store Filene's Basement is closing up shop for good tomorrow, and the reports from our New York and Chicago sites during the store's final 48 hours are somber. Yes, there are $39 wedding dresses, but there is also a hole in our hearts where Filene's once was, as well as this sad, sad puppy. Farewell, Filene's. You will be missed.
