Why Did Gloria Estefan Sign to Wilhelmina?

Singer Gloria Estefan has just signed to Wilhelmina Models. Since she isn't a fifteen-year-old from the former Soviet Union, we're going to guess that she's planning something more than just going on go-sees for possible runway work.

Wilhelmina has a special department just for celebrities. One of those celebs is Fergie, who has branched out into both beauty (a fragrance) and fashion (a shoe line) in the last few years, so it seems only logical that Gloria would do the same. Wilhelmina head Sean Patterson is quoted as saying "She’s truly an icon and we see tremendous opportunities for her in the fashion and beauty world." So, what's the over/under on a Gloria-branded apparel collection? How about a fragrance? Nail polish? We're expecting press releases in five...four...
