"The inspiration for the beauty look at Cynthia Rowley was a sexy, trendy girl going out for the night," says Maybelline New York Global Makeup Artist Charlotte Willer.
To get the look—this is, seriously, an amazing smoky eye—artists used Maybelline's Line Express eyeliner, $4.69, in Brownish Black all around the eye (including the inner rims) and the Expert Wear eyeshadow quad, $4.69. Willer applied the dark brown shade all over the eyelid and used the lighter brown to blend out the edges and soften the look. The shimmery white goes only on the inner corners of the eyes, and the lower lid gets lined with gold—for a hint of shimmer. Models' eyes were finished with Maybelline's Volum Express The Falsies mascara, $6.99—Willers applied it using a side-to-side motion, which created a spikier lash.
