What to Wear if You're a Hot Parisian Power Girl: Kevork Kiledjian

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Dear starlets of the world unafraid to explore your midnight sexy sides?Kevork Kiledjian has more than a little something for you; he's got an entire Fall 2011 collection of skin-tight leather minidresses, sheer blouses that project rocker swagger, sequined numbers that ooze Parisian eroticism and a jumpsuit that has Rihanna's name all over it.

This may be Kiledjian's first runway under his own name (he formerly headed the short-lived Guilty Brotherhood label), but already the likes of Julia Restoin-Roitfeld, Leigh Lezark, Fabiola Beracasa, Tallulah Harlech and more have parked themselves in the front row, pouring themselves into Kiledjian's slick designs for the cameras.

The hype was high for a designer barely known and the pressure must have been intense in the final few moments before his the Mugler-esque skirts, purple furs and shifts slit-up-to-there walked. Nonetheless, when the shimmering black, seductively fringed dress emerged (see Photo 5 above), there likely wasn't a girl (or perhaps even a guy) in the audience who didn't imagine it on themselves; that's the effect that overtly sexy clothing can have, you know? Fantasizing. It happens. And we'll keep fantasizing about seeing more *wink*.
