Hey San Franciscans! If wet weather is getting you down, check out @TretornSWE—it's the official Twitter of Tretorn's Wellie Wagon, a yellow-and-blue van that's driving around town for 10 weeks this spring, selling (what else?) Wellies. For 10 weeks, the Wellie Wagon will be offering two men's and two women's styles of rubber boots at any given time depending on the city's weather that day.
For the first couple of weeks, the wagon will stock the "Skerry Vinter," a mid-height rubber boot with faux-fur lining, and "Strala Vinter," an ankle boot lined in faux-fur, priced at $60 each. Tretorn will donate $1 from every boot sold to the San Francisco Neighborhood Parks Council (www.sfnpc.org), a citywide nonprofit that works to ensure city parks remain clean, safe, enjoyable and a top priority at City Hall.
