Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Whoa, hey, we think the fashion blogosphere just imploded! Today's Fashionista street style subject is Connie Wang, the global editor at Refinery29—Whom we love! Hi, Connie!

The thing that gives us crazy deja vu is: Connie—in this exact same outfit, near the exact same location, standing in nearly precisely the same pose—was also the subject of Refinery29's "What We're Wearing" feature—not 48 hours ago.

So, we come away from this with two lessons learned: 1. If you want to be photographed by street style photographers, take a tip from Connie and co-opt her colorful, easygoing style and 2. Fashion blogging has, perhaps, become a bit self-referential? Maybe we're all just trapped in one big game of telephone.
