Iconic sporty-shoe company Keds has announced a partnership with global sourcing network Li & Fung to create a Keds-branded apparel line, reports WWD. The men's and women's line will cater to The Millenials—that generation of young 'uns who are all over media lately (more on that later)—and will launch in Spring 2012.
Does anyone else (translate: is anyone else as old as we are) remember back in the late-80s or early-90s, Keds had a very short-lived apparel line? We distinctly remember owning a white Keds sweatshirt—literally, it was a white sweatshirt that had the Keds blue logo emblazoned on the front—sometime either in elementary or junior high school. Bueller?
