Launching this fall: Judith Leiber's new line, Overture, which will be priced from $200 to $700 and geared towards the contemporary market. "When people broaden their assortment, they always think about it as a diffusion line, they think about it as dumbing the core down, but that is not what this is at all," company brand manager Mary Gleason told WWD.
