According to reports in French paper Le Figaro, police reports filed in the incident where John Galliano is accused of assaulting and making anti-Semitic remarks to a couple at Paris fashion hangout La Perle state that the creative director grabbed the hair of curator Geraldine Bloch and called her an "ugly, disgusting whore" with a "dirty Jew face." Galliano also insulted her "ugly eyebrows" and "cheap thigh boots" and Bloch told police he even threatened to kill her boyfriend, Philippe Virgitti, who was with her at the time.
Galliano's rant ended in a particularly dramatic fashion, according to the Daily Mail: "She has claimed Galliano concluded his tirade with: ‘I am the designer John Galliano!’ while striking the trademark ‘rock star’ pose with which he often ends his couture shows."
Today's WWD details a second police complaint—apparently unrelated to the aforementioned incident—filed against Galliano alleging the designer made anti-Semitic slurs. Galliano has, in turn, filed a defamation suit against Bloch and Virgitti. Galliano, Bloch, and Virgitti are meeting at police headquarters in Paris' 3rd arrondissment this afternoon.
