We're hearing reports from AOL Editorial HQ that nearly all staffers at fashion and beauty blog Stylelist have been laid off—including Editorial Director of Women's & Lifestyle Programming Colleen Curtis. At time of publication, sources say that the only remaining staffer at Stylelist is beauty editor Dana Oliver. One source tells us: "It's not clear if there will even be a Stylelist after today."
This morning, AOL announced that it would lay off 900 employees. CNN reported that CEO Tim Armstrong intends to move towards "having 70% off its staff be in editorial or other content divisions. That's up from a little more than half currently." In a recent deal, AOL acquired the Huffington Post, making Arianna Huffington the new editor-in-chief of all Huffington Post and AOL editorial content.
