Forever 21 Will Donate 100% of Today's Global Online Sales to the Red Cross in Support of Japan's Earthquake and Tsunami Victims

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Just in case you needed an extra incentive to shop, we've just learned that LA-based fast-fashion retailer Forever 21 has pledged to donate 100% of its global online sales today, March 18th, to the American Red Cross in support of the victims of Japan's earthquake and tsunami. That means that every single dollar spent on any of Forever 21's ecommerce sites—,,,,, and—will be donated to the Red Cross' efforts in aid of Japan.
