If you thought forking over $180 for a pair of Ugg boots was a lot, well, check out the company's new line, Ugg Collection, where items are priced between $500 and $1,195. The new label, which launches this September, will comprise 30 styles of handbags and shoes. WWD reports:
The collection has an earthy palette of olive green, black and tan, with pops of royal blue and leopard. Handbag silhouettes include the side-strap satchel, a slouchy hobo and an oversize weekender bag, in Italian Toscana leather, sheepskin, merino, suede and pony hair. Ugg Collection footwear was designed to harness the comfort of Ugg Australia in more upscale designs, with booties, stacked wedges and knee-high leather boots.Would you pay $1,195 for an Ugg-branded accessory or shoe?
