VIDEO: Christina Hendricks Talks Vivienne Westwood and Palladium

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

The other day, we posted some photos of Mad Men's Christina Hendricks fawning over some amazing jewelry at the grand opening celebration of Vivienne Westwood's first boutique in Los Angeles. Turns out that jewelry is made of palladium and was designed by Westwood in collaboration with the Palladium Alliance International (PAI) under the "Get A Life" moniker—and Hendricks is the new face of the collab. Check out the video, above, of Hendricks talking about the jewelry and of other live-action shots from the opening.
