WWD has just learned that Tommaso Aquilano and Roberto Rimondi, the two creative directors of recently-acquired Gianfranco Ferré, have been "pushed out" of their posts. An anonymous retailer pointed to poor sales as the culprit. Although, back at the Ferré show in February, the new owners of the company hinted that this day might be coming—only replying with an ominous, "We will see", when asked about the creative directors' future at the brand.
