Today in lawsuits-that-are-about-to-get-filed, Canadian Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep dealer Dale Wurfel is using a photo of designer Tom Ford in his newest ads—we're going to guess it's without Ford's knowledge or permission.
Also, Wurfel is basically calling Ford a man-whore in the ad. Hm. Something tells us that's not going to play well in court.
The ad features an image of Tom Ford in repose from a Tom Ford fragrance ad that ran a couple of years ago.
On the image—which is touting the sale of Wurfel's used vehicles—it says: "You know you're not the first, but do you really care?" We're going to infer that Wurfel is drawing some sort of parallel between sleeping with Tom Ford and buying a used car.
Yes, you read that right. A used car dealer in Ontario just called Tom Ford a used car. Or a man-whore. Take your pick. Dale Wurfel = #winning.
