Just What You Always Wanted: a Vogue Costume Institute Gala App

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Check out the newest addition to the fashion iPad app-osphere: Vogue's look behind-the-scenes at the Costume Institute Gala held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Okay, okay, our headline is a little misleading—there isn't actually a standalone Costume Institute Gala app, but the newest edition of Vogue's dedicated iPad app features the most extensive history and coverage of the annual gala you're likely to find anywhere. It features more than 100 photos, eight videos, and five year of exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage.
