Despite all the self-congratulatory rhetoric Huffington Post royal correspondent Yvonne Yorke spouted in her story claiming Sophie Cranston of Libelula is the designer responsible for princess-to-be Kate Middleton's wedding dress—seriously, Yorke's lede was "I've reported many exclusive details on the royal wedding, but my biggest scoop is undoubtedly the identity of Kate Middleton's wedding dress designer." Is that a lede or is that a lede, eh?—Libelula issued a statement today denying their involvement in royal wedding preparations. The Telegraph reports they received this email:

"Libélula has a company policy of not commenting on any of the work they do for private clients, however due to the unprecedented media attention they would like to make the following statement: 'For the purpose of clarification we are not designing Kate Middleton's wedding dress. We, like everyone else, can't wait to find out who is!'"
