Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
In case you're in London, consider suiting up in your best tweed this Saturday, hopping on your bike, and taking a tour around the city with the third-annual Tweed Run in aid of Bikes4Africa, a charity dedicated to helping children change their lives through education—mostly by giving bikes to children to who live in remote communities, to help them get to their closest school. Pretty basic, but brilliant, idea, isn't it?
Anyway, then there's the fashion side of it: Check out some photos from previous years. It looks like it's pretty much the most fun dress-up-and-bike-around-the-city-for-charity event ever. Or, at least, a hilarious tweed flash mob on wheels.
