Wow, did you know that Gucci has had a retail shop in Palm Beach for 50 years? The brand is celebrating its 50th anniversary in Palm Beach with the release of an exclusive "New Bamboo" handbag in pale pink (that's the unofficial color of Palm Beach, btw). WWD reports: "At its birthday bash on Monday, [longtime client Arlette Gordon] recalled Aldo Gucci’s hands-on service and mischievous humor. 'He threatened to sue me for having their double-G logo on my dining room ceiling. I cried it stands for Gordon.'" [WWD]
