Lily Donaldson's Model Pad for Rent

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

British model Lily Donaldson spent $2.2 million on a two-bedroom apartment in Manhattan's Alphabet City back in 2008—at the time, brokers pegged it as the most anyone had ever spent on a co-op on that block. Now she's trying to rent the place out for $8,000 a month. Our sister site Curbed NY reports: "Donaldson started off asking $8,500/month, but she's just cut her price to $7,995/month. The apartment does have a separate dressing area and mirrored surfaces in many rooms, so maybe a fellow model will help Donaldson out." [Curbed NY]
