Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Are you an eager young go-getter who loves Racked National and wants to earn college credit—or at least a line or two on your resume—for living and breathing fashion and beauty all summer long? Then you're in luck.
We're looking for interns with journalism in their blood to help us out from approximately mid-June through Labor Day. Day-to-day responsibilities will include administrative tasks—such as photo research, transcribing interviews, and assisting with clerical and office work. The pay shall be zero dollars and some drink (proper ID req'd); the hours, flexible; the glory, extreme; the possibility for this to grow into an even better opportunity, plausible. Applicants should be forewarned that there's a distinct chance that we will force you to get dressed up and go to fashion parties (We're horrible people, we know). If you're interested, send an email to national@racked.com with a brief description of yourself and your interest in the gig. No attachments, please. If we like what we see, we'll get back to you quickly. Thanks.
