It's your worst gift-receipt nightmare (ok, not really)—turns out some inexperienced Walmart staffers have been shortchanging customers returning things with gift receipts. Consumerist reports that when a product goes on sale, sometimes the returnee will only get the sale price amount in credit, not the full amount the gifter paid.
