Sneak Peek: Saks Fifth Avenue Men's Collection for Pre-Fall & Fall

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue hosted the Pre-Fall and Fall 2011 preview for their private labels, Men's Collection and Crown, in a swank penthouse filled with clothing, accessories, and footwear at the Setai hotel on Fifth Avenue. In the collection notes Saks' Vice President, Fashion Director of Men's and Home, Eric Jennings says, "We are highlighting five key trends this season within the collection; Prominent Plaids, Camel, 3-D Knits in deep autumnal tones, Toggles on jackets and sweaters, and Monk Straps."

Saks' Crown line is being rolled out to 27 locations and is specifically designed for men who are "out to make a statement." Jennings also says in the notes, "Where the Saks Fifth Avenue Men's Collection is designed for an international classic man, Crown is designed for the man who likes to hit the town and wear a comfort fit." You can channel your inner Will Ferrell and dress like you're headed for a night out à la A Night at the Roxbury.

Both lines are exclusive to Saks Fifth Avenue and will be available in June. -Benjamin Liong Setiawan
