Mulberry Celebrates 40 With a Photo Book & We Pick Our Favorites.

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Mulberry turned 40 this year and to commemorate the occasion they've released 'Mulberry' The Book, which gives the viewer a candid look at the company.

“Rather than a dry historical round up of the brand’s past, it is a glimpse inside our world, a fly on the wall, warts and all journey through the brand’s life. It shows our public and private life, the highs and lows and the extraordinary Mulberry ‘family’ that work so hard together to make it all seem so effortless,” they note in their press release.

Photographer Venetia Dearden spent the past two years documenting the creative explorations of Mulberry. The coffee table book is $90 and available at select Mulberry stores as well as online.

We figured a video would be the best way to highlight our favorite shots. (Special thanks to Monica Allison for providing the tunes in our video.) Turns out Mulberry had the same idea and made a video too. Great minds think alike. -Benjamin Liong Setiawan
