Pregnant Ivanka Trump Wears a Bunny Costume in the New Bazaar

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

In what is one of the weirdest-ever photos we've seen of Ivanka Trump, the daughter of Donald poses in a modified Playboy-ish bunny costume in the June issue of Harper's Bazaar, which hits newsstands May 31st. Inside the issue, she talks about her pregnancy and her dad's fake-bid for the presidency.

On timing her first child: "We both said we wanted to wait one year and just enjoy being newlyweds. So we waited pretty much exactly that. Jared is ecstatic. She'll be a daddy's girl. I have a feeling they are going to gang up on me."

On raising a child: "We have our work cut out for us to ensure that our daughter is grounded and not spoiled."

On her dad's presidential bid: "I think he's exactly what we need. He's the best equipped to deal with the most important issues this nation has, which is ultimately that we're suffering under a massive burden of debt. We need a very acute financial mind to get us out of this mire.”

She doesn't like President Obama: "America is the largest corporation on the planet. You wouldn't hire a novice to run a similarly sized company in the private markets. Of course [once he was elected] I wanted him to succeed, but he's proven to be a very ineffective leader. He has just not risen to the occasion. He doesn't have business experience or a business mind."

Says the person who's inexplicably posing in a bunny costume.
