British fashion designer Paul Smith has always had a thing for bicycles—check out this back-in-the-day photo (from before he was a Sir) of Smith with his bike. Next Wednesday, the fashion mogul will be the guest of honor at the Giro d'Italia, the 100+ year old men's road cycling race that covers 2,175 miles and crosses 27 regions in Italy. He will follow the race, alternating between La Gazzetta dello Sport car and a helicopter.
