New York's biggest industry party of the year kicks off in voyeur form this afternoon when eccentric socialite/muse Daphne Guinness dresses in the windows of Barneys' flagship for tonight's Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala—this year honoring the late great Lee Alexander McQueen. PS We're hearing rumors that the Alexander McQueen gown Kate Middleton a.k.a.
