The annual Filene's Basement "Running of the Brides" super-duper wedding dress sale happened in Columbus, Ohio, this Friday—and brides turned out in droves to snap up the 1,300 to 2,800 gowns, all marked way below retail. The original prices on the gowns rang in somewhere between $900 and $9,000 and, at the Running of the Brides sale, they were priced at $249, $499, or $699.

Check out our gallery from the sale, above—and see how teams of women came out to support their friends and even camped out overnight. The next official event on the Running of the Brides calendar will happen in New York City's Union Square on June 3rd.
