Redbook Crowns its MVPs—Most Valuable (Beauty) Products—of 2011

This morning, we hightailed it up to Redbook's 2011 MVP (Most Valuable Product) Awards, hosted by model and TV presenter Camilla Alves. Alves told us about how even she, model and mom, has had beauty disasters—one Chanel-inspired haircut gone wrong at age seven and another short-do gone awry when she was pregnant with her first child—and how she and her mom used to mash up avocados, put them in their hair, wrap their heads in plastic bags and go sit in the sun for half an hour. Deep conditioning at its most natural, eh?
