Chanel Ring Lawsuit

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Remember that episode of Absolutely Fabulous where Patsy is minding her friend's ultra-chic ultra-expensive boutique and sends a customer away with the great line, "You can't come in. You're too fat. Get out." Well, in unrelated news, our sister site Racked NY reports that someone is suing Chanel because she got a too-small ring stuck on her finger. Yup. "Rosy Mizrachi Gindi of Brooklyn got one of the rings at the Chanel store on East 57th Street stuck on her finger and wound up in the emergency room for three hours trying to get it off." What do you think? Sound off in the comments. [RNY]
