Giles Deacon Cartoon Bags

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We've long been super-obsessed with Giles Deacon's funny bags—he shows them on the runway with his eponymous collection—which hav previously come in the shape of dinosaurs and fuzzy bug-eyed ball-things. So we were excited to see on Fashionista that the British designer is launching a lower-priced collaboration, which will arrive in stores this August. Sadly, there will be no stuffed-monster/animal-shaped handbags, but at these prices ($99 to $149) we'll take a Giles Deacon cartoon graphic. Cute, no? [Fashionista]
