Remember those LK Bennett "Greta" patent wedges that Kate Middleton (a.k.a. Catherine of Cambridge) was spotted wearing the day after her royal nuptials? Well, they're being re-issued this June—and not just in the UK! Kate Middleton's morning-after shoes will be available in the United States at the LK Bennett Chicago flagship in early June.
We know this because we're 21st on the waiting list.
The patent leather wedges with a woven/espadrille sole will be priced at $265 (on or about, this is an estimate the sales associate gave us over the phone) and the store is currently unable to disclose how many pairs they will receive in shipment. The Chicago store is taking out-of-town orders, so if you want to get on the list, you can call (312) 374-0958. Demand is reportedly extremely high and the shoes are expected to sell out upon arrival (if not before).
