In what we're predicting is going to be a big movement in the near future—after all, how many new designer collaborations can one fashion industry stomach?—Coach has teamed up with Net-a-Porter to re-release a selection of classic handbags from its 1970s archives (two is a trend: see the Jimmy Choo re-releases announced this morning). If you're keen to get your hands on a classic Coach from the 20th century, we suggest setting your alarms pretty early tomorrow—the five-bag collection will go live on Net-a-Porter.com at 8 a.m. ET sharp.
“The Coach designs from this era were seminal in defining our approach to great American style,” said Reed Krakoff, President and Executive Creative Director for Coach, in a statement. “Heritage is our hallmark, so we’re pleased to reintroduce these iconic bags."
The five bags in the Coach Classic Net-a-Porter collection include a Madison satchel, a Stewardess bag, a Duffle, a shoulder purse, and the Field bag. The handbags are priced from $298 for the shoulder purse to $498 for the field bag.
