Remember Jane magazine's Makeunder feature? Stay with us, we know it was a long time ago. Yes, back in the day, Jane used to take a woman (celeb or non-celeb, our memories fail us) and strip her of her makeup and hairstyling. The point was, we think, to show that people are beautiful even without all the artifice of, you know, foundation, mascara, and hairspray.
Jane Pratt's new site, xoJane.com, has revived the Makeunder feature, and their first subject is none other than socialite Tinsley Mortimer—who, to be honest, we haven't really seen around recently, but was really big a few years ago, when she was everywhere with her signature super-eyelashed, ringlet-curls look. Anyway, here's what xoJane did to Mortimer in its makeunder (above). Which do you prefer? The before or the after? Let's put it to a vote, shall we.
